The Open Road

It is friday night and we are all packed and ready for a huge adventure flying across the Atlantic to North America in the morning.

In the morning we fly to Spokane Washington were we prepare for our trip to the Canadian rockies. The Canadian Rockies will be our home for a couple of weeks were we will stay in Banff National Park and at cabins in the backcountry of Jasper National Park. After our stay in the rockies we will be spending four weeks traveling down the west coast of the USA heading into Yosemite and then the desert southwest. We will then make an epic trip across the great plains to Michigan.

We are super excited of coarse and cant wait to be on the road again. Being on the road traveling to wherever one feels like is one of the greatest feelings. My camera is ready to go and I can hardly wait to be capturing our adventure.

I came across this quote by John Muir a couple of weeks ago, I will leave you with this untill we return in September.

Tom.

“Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are
beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wildness
is a necessity; and that mountain parks and reservations are useful not only as
fountains of timber and irrigating rivers, but as fountains of
life.”
